Eduard, better known within IEB as our go-to EUTR / EUDR specialist, is a man of the world, both literally and figuratively. His role in the organization takes him beyond the boundaries of the ordinary workplace. He is our explorer in the complex world of timber regulation, having traveled through countries such as Congo, Gabon, Ivory Coast, India, Lebanon and Macedonia. Ed's mission? Ensure that our company and our partners are fully compliant with international EUTR/EUDR legislation.
In addition to his expertise in the field of EUTR/EUDR, Ed is also the specialist for individual and multi-site certification. His ability to unravel complex regulations and make them accessible to everyone inside and outside our company is nothing short of impressive. But what makes Ed truly unique is not just his professional skill.
Outside of work, Ed reveals a colorful mosaic of interests and hobbies. He gives soap workshops with great enthusiasm, where he shares his love for the traditional and natural. As a certified drone pilot and passionate photographer, Ed combines his eye for detail with his love for nature and technology. His photographs tell stories of places both far and near, captured from a unique perspective.
Ed’s fascination with the digital world and the technology behind it colors his approach to both work and leisure. This passion for technology, combined with his creative skills, makes him an intriguing member of our team.
Together with his wife and their faithful camper, affectionately called the “Pim-Mobile”, Ed explores the world beyond his professional expeditions. These journeys, rich in adventure and discovery, fuel his endless curiosity and inspire his work and life.
